Today we got to visit an elementary school in town to present our oil products to the local community. It was a fun event with a color run & awards ceremony for all the little runners. We got to meet several families & tell them our story.
The race was an event set up by the school with the help of their PTA (who just meeting them seem to be a well put together bunch, way more than me & our crazy brood!). They reached out to families at the school in search of businesses in the area to attend the event. We thought it would be a great introduction for our products to some of our local community. And it was!
We talked with several folks, some in very similar situations raising small kids & balancing life. We got to tell them about our history; four generations of olive oil farming, oil making & soap production.
